Lauren's Cradle

This was my first woodworking project, a cradle for my daughter Lauren. Lots of little flaws, and it certainly took me long enough to finish, but I think it turned out nicely. Even as Lauren grows older, she enjoys using it to store her toys.

Video of Lauren playing in the cradle at 8 months old.

Detailed plans and step-by-step instructions are available in the book New Yankee Workshop: Kid's Stuff, and a video is availabe on NewYankee.com. Note: don't buy the plans from NewYankee.com - you can get the entire book for less than the cost of the cradle plans, and I have been told that the plans are not as detailed as the book.
